Ukstreetracers.co.uk - Rules

This is a class for Street Legal, Street Driven & Track Raced cars. The rules are....
There are two classes - a V8 class and a combined 4-6 cylinder class. We run as many events as we can throughout the summer, These events can be at North Weald, Santa Pod or Shakespeare race way. It's very simple, when you turn up to race, you give us your details and we allocate a race number for your car. This stays with you for each event making it easier for us to track you. You also get your own web-page on this web-site with details about your car. There's a full report on the events page, pictures and even some video in the Photo gallery. There's only one thing to remember, there's no such thing as too much horse power. Everyone is entitled to use whatever means possible to get them down the quarter mile in the shortest time - you don't get out of your car on the street and ask the guy in the other lane "what have you got under the hood".

The Rules are as follows

1:- The car requires a current MOT   2:- The car requires a current TAX disc
3:- Legal treaded tyres on all four corners   4:- A full exhaust system
5:- Follow the safety requirements of the race track

Points System

For the Street Racer Series we will be running a points system for each event held.
Hopefully this will help to even out the competition, you'll need to turn up to get the points!
The points system for each event will work like this - You'll get 10 points for entering a time plus
1st place gets 30 points, 2nd place place gets 29 points, 3rd place gets 28 points etc down to 30th place who gets 1 points
The person in each class with the most points at the end of the Six events gets the prize!
In the event of a meeting being rained off each person that turned up will receive 10 points for making the effort

Final say for any discrepancies will be with

Richard Nicholls - American Car World
Pete Thornton - UkStreetRacers
